Early morning traffic and the Weekend

No one on my buddylist is online right now. Cool.
I have vowed to come into work early from now on. That way, I can leave early. I got in at 7am today... but what really weirded me out today was the traffic. I mean the whole point of coming into work early was to beat the traffic. There was traffic at 6:15am. 6 freakin' 15 am!
That is very disheartening.
Oh yeah... movies I watched over the weekend:
Bridget Jones - The Edge of Reason:
This movie was good overall. The first half was utterly annoying... but when Hugh Grant's character finally debuts in the film, it gets more interesting. Although the movie is riddled with unlikely situations and hopeless indignations too perfect to be true, the movie is entertaining and believable in it's comedy. I recomend it if your girlfriend is dying to see it... just to please her. Believe me, it's not that painful.
However, I still think the first Bridget Jones Diaries was far better. And Rene was definitely easier to look at in the first one. I think for the sequel, she gained too much weight. All I can say was, it was distracting... very difficult to look at.
Boiler Room:
This movie was utterly horrid. The soundtrack was a piece of ddong. The writing of the script itself was too glorifing in it's vulgarity... imagine an "Indepence Day speech" by Ben Afleck but quicker in it's delivery about how much he loved being a millionaire at the age of 26. "I drive a Ferrari. I have every known toy I could think of. I have so much money, I don't know what to do with it." oh, how bout this one: "Act like you're the CEO of this company. Walk around like you got a 9 inch cock..." nice. Don't even let me get into the most horrible acting by the gimpy FBI agents. Pure crap. Dah!
Oh, but like I was saying... the writing of the story was good. The directing was so bad. Not as bad as the guy who directed Resident Evil and Mortal Kombat... but pretty bad.

I found it entirely painful and the minutes just crawled while i was waiting for the entire miserable thing to end so that i could escape the theater.
So happy that you enjoyed it. Thumbs up for your resiliance.
