The Slayer concert was bearable... although I chose not to stay for the Slayer act. The openning bands sounded great. No, not cos of the music... cos of the sound system. The experience itself was only bearable because of my VIP pass. I mostly hung out with the Stars. Frodo Baggins was there. There was a lot of celebrities that you know... but you don't remember their names. Anyhow, the only person I saw back there that really got my attention was Richard Patrick: the genius and lead singer behind the band "Filter". It was kinda weird cos I was just listening to "Welcome to the Fold" right before I turned off my iPod and went into the concert.
Well, since I mentioned Frodo Baggins... I did watch "Return of the King" EXTENDED version.
If you are a Lord of the Rings fan like me, you will love this movie. It does so much justice to the books. I can't say anymore.
Mike, James and I redid the lights in our sanctuary this weekend. They look nice now. I struggled to replace a light bulb, hanging from a 12 foot ladder. And as soon as I was done... the one next to it burns out. blah. No more bulbs... we'll do it next time.
