"Mr Berlusconi said the US must accept responsibility to restore relations."
I agree. I believe the US made a mistake and must except the responsibility of this mistake. For now the Italian PM is our friend... keep it that way.
"Mr Berlusconi said he had spoken to US President George W Bush, who had promised to co-operate in finding out who was responsible.
He said the idea that Mr Calipari had been killed by friendly fire was "painful" but added he was certain the US "has no intention of evading the truth"."
YEAH RIGHT! Of course the US has intentions of evading the truth! That's just the way it is. It's the "Rather" way. That phrase is as stupid and moronic as what the worthless hostage/reporter said when she proposed "they were deliberately targeted by US troops because the US frowns upon negotiating for prisoners."
The Italian PM is obviously a reasonable guy. He outright rejected the notion that the car was deliberatly targeted... but is disturbed by the unfortunate and obvious mistakes that were made on the US part. Just freakin' apologize to him Bush.
