A group of highly skilled ninjas that I know, got me this gift for my birthday. I don't know when I'll have the time to install it, but I hope it turns out well.
Basically, you can plug your iPod into your car stereo and it treats it like an aux in... like a CD Changer or something. This way, I don't have to use my crappy tape deck converter. I can retain it's digital glory and enjoy my Incubus in hi-fi bliss. Thanks mangos.
Speaking of Incubus, I thought I read somewhere that Mike from Incubus switched from PRS guitars to Fender and Mesa Boogie amps to Vox AC30s because he was really uninspired with his sound on the Morning View record. Kind of a shame. Because the reason why I wanted to get the lovely PRS I have is partly due to my inspiration I received from that album. I can kinda agree with the Mesa Boogie part though... guitarists are a different breed... they are constantly on the quest for tone... for "the sound". And the funny thing is... one sound may be pure "melt-your-face-buttery" to someone and pure "grandma's fart" to another.
I don't care what sounds he gets from his new Fender... I'm sticking to the PRS that is no doubt, the best guitar I've ever owned. *School of Rock gyrate*
