Sizemore sentenced to nearly two years
Thursday, March 31, 2005
Sizemore sobbed, gestured and begged for another chance as he delivered a rambling speech before being handed the first sentence Thursday by Superior Court Judge Antonio Barreto Jr.
He pleaded with the judge for leniency, saying he had broken his parents’ hearts and felt like a 12-year-old child. Sizemore also said he was “engaged in a struggle right now to regain the better part of who I am. ... I never thought I had this disease.”
“I assure your honor that I’m not acting now. I’m not acting, I’m begging, I’m beseeching you. I can’t imagine my future without performing.”
Outside court, he gave a high five and directed an obscene gesture at the press. Why is that funny to me? Read rest of story here. This is the guy who never flinched in the face of a thousand flying bullets in Blackhawk Down.

Finally Beautiful
Tuesday, March 29, 2005
The sun is out in full force... not a cloud in the sky. This is how it should be. I love it. I love it. I love it. I think I'll go to the beach today for lunch. Now... if I can only solve this problem of being indoors all day...

Funnyness
Monday, March 28, 2005
It's funny how some people make fun of you or bring you down... yet, you can utterly destroy their confidence just by mentioning how: ugly, out of shape, UNintelligent, or any number of unfortunate combinations that they exhibit. And I think of these things. It's their misery... I'll just refrian from bringing it to light... I'll let them float on their ignorance for a while longer. My take on life: Be creative. Be different. Don't be mad cos I don't want to be like you or look like you. And if you are, just DO your mundane life and express yourself in the safest way possible but... just shut up and watch... as that one person goes against the trend while you play out your mediocrity.

Vlogging
Tuesday, March 22, 2005
It was bound to happen. The next step to blogging. VLOG. Some things were just meant to be unseen. Take for example, this guy who calls his blog: "The Esoteric Ramblings of Starius". DYAMNNNNNNNN!!!! The worst part about it is that vlogs seem utterly less interesting when you actually see what they are talking about... with motion... with audio... I just rather not see the person in all their dull, boring, self-ugliness... You know, some people predicted that the Internet would erradicate Newspapers and Magazines. We all know that those still thrive. I think written blogs will thrive even when there is an onslaught of new vlog users. The imagination is tastier than reality most of the time.

- You're that smart? - Let me put it this way. Have you ever heard of Plato, Aristotle, Socrates? - Yes. - MORONS! later -You fell victim to one of the classic blunders, the most famous of which is "Never get involved in a land war in Asia", but only slightly less well known is this: "Never go in against a Sicilian, when death is on the line!" hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! hehaha! hahaha! 8-( *kaput*

GUITAR 10!!!!!
Friday, March 18, 2005
I found this lovely piece of work on ebay... Can't believe why anyone would sell this thing. The guy is from San Diego and I'm just so tempted to drive there and just pick it up. Here's the description off the auction: "This is a near MINT Gibson Les Paul Elegant in a tightly flamed factory original custom color. It is definitely a "one-off", and not something you're likely to ever see again. It looks to be a cranberry flametop around the edges, that fades into a violet color in the middle. It is quite striking, and something I've never seen before. The guitar itself in in near MINT condition, and could easily pass for a brand new guitar. There's ZERO playwear, no dings or scratches, and no indents or buckle rash. The condition is simply stunning. It even smells brand new! The Elegant comes with abalone inlays, ebony fretboard, Gibson '57 PAF's, and a newer Custom Shop case." Only thing I don't care for is the abalone inlays... I prefer the clean mother of pearl.

Crime and Punishment
I only wish we could implement these kind of punishments on Rapists/Murderers. Iran's 'desert vampire' executedMohammad Bijeh, 24, dubbed "the Tehran desert vampire" by Iran's press, was flogged 100 times before being hanged.
A brother of one of his young victims stabbed him as he was being punished. The mother of another victim was asked to put the noose around his neck.
The crimes of Mohammed Bijeh and his accomplice Ali Baghi had drawn massive attention in the Iranian media.
They reportedly tricked children to go with them into the desert south of Tehran by saying they were going to hunt animals. They then poisoned or knocked their victims out, sexually abused them and buried them in shallow graves.
They were found guilty of the murders of between 19 and 22 people, but local people believe the toll to be higher. Read Article

For all you Tot Lovers
Wednesday, March 09, 2005
If you're like me, after you watched Napoleon Dynamite... you went out and got some tater tots only to be disappointed that all places only serve em for breakfast. Well... turns out I found a place that serves it all day. It's a place called Taco Maker. I know I know.. they make Mexican food... but they make burgers too. It's located on Santa Monica and Sepulveda in the same plaza as Yoshinoya. For those of you that love Zankou's.. they're opening one up on that corner too. Anyways, back to the Tots... they call them "Gems" in the restaurant. They have a small and large size. The Large goes for $2.19 or something... I got that. I couldn't finish it. I'm telling you... it's huge. Here is a picture in relation to my hand. (I apologize for the lack of quality in the pic... it was taken on a cellphone.) Now think about it. Hold out your hand open.... and picture a bag bigger than that filled with Tots. It's huge.

More on that Itanlian shooting
"Mr Berlusconi said the US must accept responsibility to restore relations."I agree. I believe the US made a mistake and must except the responsibility of this mistake. For now the Italian PM is our friend... keep it that way. "Mr Berlusconi said he had spoken to US President George W Bush, who had promised to co-operate in finding out who was responsible.
He said the idea that Mr Calipari had been killed by friendly fire was "painful" but added he was certain the US "has no intention of evading the truth"."YEAH RIGHT! Of course the US has intentions of evading the truth! That's just the way it is. It's the "Rather" way. That phrase is as stupid and moronic as what the worthless hostage/reporter said when she proposed "they were deliberately targeted by US troops because the US frowns upon negotiating for prisoners." The Italian PM is obviously a reasonable guy. He outright rejected the notion that the car was deliberatly targeted... but is disturbed by the unfortunate and obvious mistakes that were made on the US part. Just freakin' apologize to him Bush. I was hired to do a logo design and site design for a website called Mixture.com. Here is the logo I came up with: I am at a creative STOP. And I told the client that I'm wasting too much time on this project... and that if I didn't come up with something by tomorrow... I will call the deal off. I've been really busy lately and I don't think I'm getting paid enough to spend that much time on it. Sometimes creativity hits me instantly... sometimes it doesn't... this time it didn't. Sucks.

Kosher Pinks
Wednesday, March 02, 2005
So yesterday, my coworker goes to eat dinner with his roomate. They're driving around and notice a Pita place they've never noticed before. They park the car next to Pinks. Pinks is a famous hotdog restaurant. The line was unusually short, so my coworker decides to get a hotdog and drink and take it into the Pita place to order their real dinner. So my coworker gets a Pinks to go bag and an Orange soda. They walk to the Pita place... they walk in and sit down. They immediately notice the place is filled with Orthodoxed Jews. Complete with yamacas, twirly sideburns, and black suits. By then, it was too late... my coworker was hoping that they wouldn't notice a "Korean and Indian guy walk in with a Pinks bag and Pinks soda". Puhahaha... fat chance... The waitress comes over and says.. "what is that?"... "uh.... it's a hotdog." "You can not bring that in here. This is a Kosher place." And as they left, they were stoned by the eyes of Angry Jews, who's place was descerated. Good job Robin.

Russell Peters should have more material now... In addition to medicines, the goratna products range from cow dung toothpaste, to detergents, a skin-whitening cream, baldness and obesity cures, soap and a cow urine “antiseptic aftershave.”
Singh already uses the detergent and is thinking of experimenting further.
“I’m tempted to try something for the hair — let’s hope,” he grins, running his fingers through his thinning crop.
click here for rest of article Crap detergent and crap toothpaste... hmmmm... I'm not trying to be racist here... I'm just pointing out the obvious like Russell Peters does, but... "no wonder".

how about an orange one?
This morning I was listening to Alter Bridge. The only good members of former Creed reincarnated. Alter BridgeThis CD sounded better in just sound clips on their website. Now that I have it... with one listen, you already know that the whole album is completely forgettable. The singer's voice is kinda annoying... I can't decide who's voice is more annoying... this singer or Scott Strapp of Creed. But just imagining that I find this guy's voice annoying after one listen, I'd have to give Scott the benefit of the doubt: at least I could stand his voice for 2 albums. But the voice of a singer doesn't really bother me as much as whether he / she stays in key... which he does. So props for that. The thing that bothered me most about this album was the tone of Tremonti's guitar. It sucks. Sure the palm mute chugs sound good... but with that much distortion... there is no tone. It's just noise... it's nothing really new from Creed... other than being more "free" to do what he wants. I don't know if that's a good thing though. This album defintely sounds immature. I'll give them one more chance with a sophmore CD. Taking Back SundayGood CD. Love the radio hits on this album. Don't really like the other songs... but the difference between this one and the Alter Bridge one is that, I can learn to like the other songs. They aren't my cup of tea at first, but I can see how they can grow on you. Taking Back Sunday is an onslaught of Emo Emo Emo... not the Dashboard kind of Emo where you'd have hundreds of pre-pub teens crying at a concert, but the hooks are definitely Emo. A lot of melodic screaming and singing over screams... I like it. That's their gimmick. The guitars and instruments are just average, but the way the singer and the guitarist works their harmonies and vocal arrangements is what makes the band... the thing is... it's not so obvious that you get this "boy band" feel. The vocals kinda put the icing on the cake. I recommend this CD. Velvet RevolverBiggest disappointment of an album. If I never "saw" the band, I might have been able to like this CD... but Scott Weiland has got to be the biggest flaming weirdo in music today. This band has so much they can work with... and they chose to go this route... "I'm the rock star! So I can dress gayer than the gayest guy on earth and still be straight." I think make-up for guys is ok, I like low cut jeans and bell bottoms... but Scott, do yourself a favor... and WAKE UP! Some people actually like to hear the music on it's on merit... not cos you're prancing around on-stage like a fairy queen. Jeez. None of the songs on this album deserve any credit to my ears... except maybe "Fall to Pieces".
